WHAT DOES IT COST TO RECORD A VOICE?
Your cost varies depending on the number of voices you need, which voice you want to read your text, the length of the script and where your recording will be used (TV, Radio, Web, private?). The safest way is to call us or send us an inquiry via email.
HOW DO I USE THE SEARCH TOOL / THE VOICE BANK FILTERS?
1. You can either use the free text search field or filter your voices. You can also use them in combination. Try both out and see what works best for you. A new feature on TMP Voices is that you can search by voice character and reading style.
2. Listen to voices and add your favorites to a playlist by clicking on the "add” button.
3. Send your playlist to us for a quote request, share the playlist with a colleague or send it to your client.
WHERE ARE THE VOICES?
We work with voice artists and studios all over the world. If it’s important that you and your voice talent be in the same city for the recording session, please tell us when you book your talent. For logistic simplicity we can help cast local talent. Travel could also be an option.
CAN I ATTEND THE RECORDING SESSION?
Absolutely. We recommend that TMP customers participate and offer suggestions. It is a golden opportunity to hear your text come to life and to get the performance you have in mind. You know what you want. Being present can only help. Another option is to participate live with via Skype or telephone during the recording session.
HOW DOES IT WORK WITH USER RIGHTS?
When it comes to TV advertising and some other types of advertising, the speaker's fee includes both compensation for the voice recording itself and for how long the spot airs. Often, the fee includes a user’s right to display a TV spot for a year. If the advertiser decides to use the same commercial for a longer time than that, the voice talent has to be additionally compensated. Contact us. A higher initial voice talent fee can also be negotiated to “buy out” the speaker’s right to additional compensation.
WHEN DO I GET MY RECORDING?
We usually deliver 3-5 working days after your recording session. If a customer has special requests for delivery, we naturally try to satisfy these.
HOW ARE FILES DELIVERED?
We usually deliver a download link directly from our own file transfer service. But we can also deliver via our FTP, Dropbox or any of the external file transfer services available on the market.
WHAT IS A VOICE OVER?
Voice over is an expression that actually means "voice over film" in movie context. A voice over is when we hear a voice commenting on a picture flow; the speaker is unseen, not on camera. In a radio advertising spot, in addition to character actors, a voice over artist may tag a spot with a call to action.
