Voiceovers in Portuguese

Portuguese is spoken by over 240 million people in the world. It is the sixth largest language in the world and the largest in South America. Over half of the population of South America speaks Portuguese.

The Portuguese language is closely related to Spanish. It is said that the percentage of transparency between Portuguese and Spanish is about 90%.

 

European or Brazilian Portuguese?

There are big differences in the pronunciation when comparing European and Brazilian Portuguese. The lessers the difference in words and grammar. The Brazilian Portuguese is closer to the Spanish and Italian in the pronunciation while the European Portuguese deviates. An Italian person understands a Brazilian-speaking person better than a European Portuguese.
