Voiceovers in Finnish

 

The Finnish has many different dialects and linguistic variations and originates from the Urals language family.
When we record Finnish voices at TMP, it is usually in neutral Finnish and with as little dialect as possible and corresponding to what one hears on national TV broadcasts.

The Finnish language

Finnish is a Finnish-Ugric language and is spoken primarily in Finland. Together with the Swedish, Finnish is an official language in Finland. Finnish is spoken by about 5 million people in Finland. But the language is also spoken by smaller groups in Russia, Canada, the United States and Australia. In Sweden, Finnish has spoken for many hundred years and today there are about 300,000 Finnish-speaking people in Sweden.
